Sound Equipment Disrupts NIJ Matriculation

*It is an embarrassment to us…-Student Affairs Officer
*Everything is under Alarm, no cause for control…-HND 1 Gov

Nigerian Institute of Journalism last Tuesday matriculated over 330 students amidst malfunctioning sound equipment which many saw as a shame.

Reacting to the several break-ups during the provost’s speech, a parent said “as a communication school, I believe they understand the barriers of communication and that despite the huge amount of school fees paid by students, it still can’t afford better equipments”.

On behalf of NIJ, Student Affairs Officer, Mrs. Kalesanwo apologized saying “this is an embarrassment to us and please accept our sincere apology as machines can fail at times”.

Among other persons who spoke to the students was HND 1 governor, Ojebola Mathew who urged students to take control of their presence in NIJ. “Everything is under alarm no cause for control” Ojebola said.
